Jaci Hynes is a wife to Wes and mother to three rambunctious boys. She lives in Dallas, Texas. She’s currently a graduate student, aspiring to become a professional counselor. When Jaci’s not managing chaos, writing papers, or feeding perpetually hungry growing boys, she’s dreaming of Disney World, building her businesses, and sipping (sometimes ridiculously lukewarm) cups of coffee. Jaci owns an online boutique. Jaci finds joy in personal development, growing her self awareness, and hopes one day to help millions of people kick their toxic shame to the curb.
Jaci was born into a military family. She had the privilege of traveling around the world and lived in the United States, England, and South Korea all before she turned 17,. With a military childhood comes a unique perspective on new beginnings, fitting in, sense of self, and cultural appreciation.
Jaci aspires to write about mental health, loving and accepting yourself, scratching that entrepreneurial itch, and just hanging on tight when shit gets wild. She believes deeply that we’re all searching for a meaningful existence, and looks forward to walking with others in their search for meaning and on their journey toward accepting their authentic self.
Above all, she enjoys the sweet and salty life she has built with her husband and her precious sons, Mickey Mouse, the color turquoise, and anything written by Carl Rodgers.
